Great news is how we kick off this months newsletter as we are pleased to announce that we have scheduled the RWMN Meet and Greet for October 7th -10th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  We have secured a venue thanks to the sponsorship of  Desu and we would like to say on behalf of the network Thank you!!  We look forward to having everyone at the event and hope that it will be an enjoyable one for everyone who attends.

We kicked of July with Hartford Connecticut Vinyl Collectors Gathering from the 2nd - 3rd.  We were privileged to heard from the crew in Hartford, under the Auspices of Binsy and Management to feature Derrick Reid “Hugh "Platinum", Caryl Ward (NY), Donald Smith (CT), Walter Wray (NY), Paul Hutton  (NY), Thaddeous Buchannan (GA,).  It was a great event fulled with a lot of great energy and beautiful music.  Also at the event, although we were not able to feature them due to technical difficulties, were Micheal Searchwell, Gladstone Bardowell, Morris Goodwin, and Ranford Thomas.

On the 11th Thanks to Desu, Paul Hutton and  his team, we were fortunate to stream from the Merritone Fun day from Connecticut.  What a great turnout, the weather was great and the music was nice and the vibes were right.  We would like to say thank you to Sanatone for working with us as we re-schedule the shows for the live streaming from the park.

On the 10th Charlie K and Silky kicked off the weekend with a double celebration for Pat Samp’s birthday and Pat and Sammy’s Anniversary.  WOW!!  Was a great night that was.  We partied, and partied and then we partied
again.  The chat room was buzzing with great conversations, and lots of drinks and cake and the
celebration went on til the wee hours of the morning.  Many more happy years together, Pat and Sammy.    We also would like to wish the other members of the network who celebrated birthdays this month many happy returns, DJ Paul, Caryl W, DJ Carlton, Kenny P, wishing you all the very best.

We lost the Godfather of Dancehall this month also, the reggae industry lost the great Sugar Minott.  Sugar passed after struggling with prolonged heart ailments.

We welcome Northern Star Vibes to the Network.  Northern Star Vines comes to us out off Toronto Canada with a team of 25 members and growing.  They will debut on Saturday August 14th and they will be going video.  We would like to say A Special Thanks to “Bonner” for coordinating with the team and making it happen.  Together WE make a Difference and Together WE make it Happen!!!  Special thanks to Brooksie for making it all possible!!

Val Anthony had a special guest Carlyle on the 25th.   Carlyle had the place on fire from beginning to end, great performance Carlyle.

Reggaegolfer did a special tribute to Ben E king on the 29th on Mid Week Shuffle segment.  Reggaegolfer as usual had the room buzzing with anticipation and great conversations, great job Reggaegolfer.
